Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile, highly hands-on HR Generalist to manage our daily human resources operations in the Philippines. This role will cover end-to-end recruitment, payroll administration, local employee handbook creation, and employee relations management. You will serve as the primary operational HR pillar, ensuring compliant, structured, and smooth workforce operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment & Talent Acquisition - Lead end-to-end recruitment for operational, technical, and administrative positions.
  • Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and building talent pipelines across local channels (JobStreet, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
  • Facilitate seamless onboarding, orientation, and integration programs for new hires.
  • Process payroll, attendance tracking, and timekeeping for local employees.
  • Handle statutory contributions, filings, and monthly compliance with government regulatory bodies.
  • Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding compensation, pay slips, and benefits in a timely manner.
  • Draft, establish, and continuously update the local Employee Handbook, company SOPs, and internal policies.
  • Ensure all HR guidelines and procedures strictly comply with Philippine Labor Laws and regulatory standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee grievances, workplace counseling, and dispute resolution.
  • Manage disciplinary procedures, including drafting Notices to Explain (NTE), administrative hearing documentation, and due process enforcement in accordance with DOLE standards.
  • Foster a healthy, positive, and engaged organizational culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of progressive HR experience in the Philippines operating as an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or HR Officer.
  • Proven hands-on experience in full-cycle recruitment, payroll processing, employee handbook drafting, and employee relations.
  • Solid understanding of Philippine Labor Code, DOLE guidelines, and statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setup.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills (required for drafting handbooks, NTEs, and official documentation).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields.
