Human Resources Manager Philippines
Job Summary
The HR Manager should possess a diverse skill set in order to support multiple areas of Human Resources throughout the organization within our international offices. The position requires involvement with sensitive and confidential information and considerable use of tact, discretion and judgment. A strong background in employment law and employee relations is essential as this candidate will partner with HR leadership to develop and execute various initiatives both locally and on a global scale. The HR Manager should be able to communicate effectively and deliver valuable services to all groups within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the HR department locally while rolling out initiatives created at a global level.
- Provide local HR support to leaders in all areas of Human Resources including recruitment, performance management, benefits, compensation administration, and employee relations.
- Provide guidance and direction to employees and management on various HR related topics and respond to escalated HR issues and concerns.
- Ensure consistency in HR policies while adapting to local customs and employment regulations.
- Work with members of the HR team to ensure company policies and procedures are in compliance with regulatory compliance.
- Support HR leadership to ensure all country-wide initiatives are in line with corporate culture. Support alignment with corporate culture by modeling established values and behaviors.
- Continuously review and update benefit structures tailored to international markets.
- Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, and interviewing for country-specific hiring.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and make recommendations to the management teams for continuous improvement.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources.
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources or relevant area of study, 5+ years of experience in diverse HR role working in fast-paced environments, and experience managing teams in multiple locations.
- Subject Matter Expert in Philippine labor laws, including DOLE regulations, Labor Code compliance, statutory benefits, employee discipline, and termination processes.
- Experience working with US companies on a global platform.
- Fluency in English. Strong communication skills, verbal and written, to support correspondence and/or development of interdepartmental communications.
- Strong employee relations background to manage issues on many employment related topics.
- Ability to conduct briefings or trainings on various HR topics such as performance management and other development programs.
- Sound critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work closely with a global team.
- Experience with various HRIS systems (ADP Workforce strongly preferred).
- Must be willing to work night shift to accommodate US working hours and also a hybrid working environment.
