Job Description

Job Summary:

The People Business Partner is responsible for fostering positive relationships between employees and management within the organization. They are responsible for planning, implementing, and communicating employee and labor relations programs and procedures, ensuring their effectiveness and compliance with regulations

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, implementing, and communicating employee and labor relations programs and procedures.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of programs and policies, recommending modifications as needed.
  • Compile information and statistics on the economic impact of proposals from both labor and management.
  • Provide guidance on grievance procedures, disciplinary actions, and other employee relations practices to management.
  • Facilitate meetings between labor and management to discuss and resolve issues of mutual concern.
  • Gather initial information from employees regarding work-related problems, evaluate issues, and refer them for appropriate action.
  • Pull and analyze HR employee statistics and progress reporting.
  • Understand and comply with all policies, procedures, and regulations related to job duties.
  • Assist the Engagement Office in designing and implementing local employee engagement and recognition programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable of various HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, and training.
  • Familiarity with best practices in employee relations, conflict resolution, and benefits administration.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements an ability to interpret labor laws and apply them effectively in HR policies and practices.
  • Clear and coherent in both verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Willingness to work at the designated workplace as required with the ability to adapt to varying work schedules, including shifts and occasional overtime.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to analyze raw data in Excel to create reports and identify trends.
  • Competent in creating informative presentations for leaders and employees.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and delivering high-quality work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively to optimize HR processes.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks

Screening Criteria:

  • Graduate of Psychology, Human Resources Management, or other similar degree.
  • At least two (2) years experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
  • Must have a stable employment history.

Work Setup: Site only (Davao, Angeles, Ortigas)

Work Schedule: Rotational
