About Voyager Tennis

Voyager Tennis is a leading racquet sports company operating across Sydney, the Northern NSW, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Singapore. Our facilities offer tennis, pickleball, and padel, and we are passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities enjoy racquet sports through world-class coaching, programs, and events.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to support and deliver end-to-end recruitment processes that help us attract top talent and strengthen our workforce across all Voyager venues and programs.

This is a full-time remote position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am 6:00 pm (AEST/AEDT).

The role reports directly to the HR Specialist and the department is led by the HR Manager within Voyager's shared-services structure.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Human Resources Assistant who will help manage end-to-end recruitment with the Human Resources Specialist for various roles in the company. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, good communication, and the drive to learn and grow in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support

  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment tasks, including posting job ads, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and supporting the preparation of offers
  • Help maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment trackers
  • Support background/reference checks and documentation preparation

Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Assist in managing the employee lifecycle, including new hire documentation, HR system enrollment, status updates, transfers, and exit processing
  • Ensure employees are accurately recorded in HR and operational systems
  • Coordinate visa requirements and related documentation with the immigration agent when needed
  • Maintain employee records and files in line with confidentiality and compliance standards
  • Support the HR team in other administrative tasks when needed

HR Support

  • Serve as Tier 1 HR support, responding to basic employee queries regarding HR processes, policies, and systems
  • Help maintain and update HR SOPs and internal policies
  • Support HR initiatives, employee engagement activities, and internal communications
  • Prepare HR reports, trackers, and documentation as requested
  • Assist with general administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of HR experience with strong recruitment experience favourable
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
  • Flexibility to adapt & ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of recruitment tools and job platforms is essential
  • A Passion for Racquet Sports or Sports in general.Previous role in HR in a sporting organisation is favourable

Work Schedule: Australian business hours

Location: Remote - Philippines

Start Date: January 5th, but flexible on start date

Salary: Php 40,000 - 45,000
