HR Assistant (SAGE Experience)

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented HR Assistant with experience using SAGE software to support our Johannesburg operations. This role will focus on HR administration, employee records management, payroll support, and HR compliance coordination.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support to the Johannesburg HR team.
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Prepare employment documentation including contracts, confirmations, and HR letters.
HRIS & Payroll Support
- Manage HR data and employee records within SAGE software.
- Assist with payroll preparation and employee information updates.
- Ensure employee data accuracy in HR systems and payroll platforms.
- Generate HR and payroll reports as required by management.
Employee Records & Compliance
- Maintain employee files in accordance with company policies and data privacy standards.
- Track employee leave records, benefits documentation, and HR requests.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with company HR procedures and documentation standards.
HR Coordination
- Support HR inquiries from employees and managers.
- Coordinate HR documentation required for internal audits or reporting.
- Assist with HR projects and operational initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2 years of HR administrative experience.
- Hands-on experience using SAGE software (HR or payroll module).
- Strong knowledge of HR documentation and employee records management.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with international teams and support global HR operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting international HR teams or offshore operations.
- Familiarity with payroll processing or HRIS systems.
- Experience in BPO, outsourcing, or remote staffing environments.
