Human Resource Partner - Role Overview

The Human Resource Partner role is primarily responsible for delivering comprehensive, on‑the‑ground HR operational and professional services in the Philippines, serving as the local HR focal point for both employees and people managers. This role ensures effective execution of HR policies, processes, and programs while maintaining compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.

In addition to local responsibilities, the role will actively support regional HR initiatives and projects, working closely with Regional HR Operations teams and Centres of Excellence (COEs) to ensure alignment, consistency, and high‑quality delivery across the region.


Key Responsibilities

1. On‑the‑Ground HR Operations & Professional Services (Philippines)

  • Serve as the primary local HR point of contact for employees and people managers, providing day‑to‑day HR operational support, consultation, and guidance.
  • Partner closely with the regional Talent Acquisition team to support onboarding and offboarding activities, including documentation, orientation support, exit interviews, and involuntary separation processes where applicable.
  • Collaborate with the regional payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including salary, commissions, and other compensation‑related inputs.
  • Manage employee benefits administration in coordination with the regional Compensation & Benefits team, including social insurance, group insurance, health checks, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and other locally applicable benefits.
  • Oversee HR vendor management, including vendor onboarding, contract administration, service quality monitoring, payment coordination, and HR data management.
  • Handle HR‑related operational payments and coordinate the preparation of government‑related letters, certificates, and statutory documentation as required.
  • Manage local HR communications, including employee announcements, policy updates, and workplace communications.
  • Support training and development activities, including coordination with external vendors and venues, and act as the local focal point for training delivery once plans are finalized.
  • Coordinate and manage work visa and immigration processes, where applicable, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

2. Employee Engagement & HR Program Support (Philippines)

  • Lead and support employee engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including budgeting, event planning, logistics coordination, execution, reporting, and post‑event evaluation.
  • Support employee reward and recognition programs, including coordination of program activities, budget tracking, nomination processes, communications, recognition events, and effectiveness review.

3. Regional HR Project & Stakeholder Support

  • Collaborate with regional HR Operations counterparts and COEs to plan, coordinate, and execute regional HR initiatives and projects.
  • Support communication and engagement efforts aimed at strengthening alignment and commitment among leaders, employees, and internal or external stakeholders.
  • Represent the Philippines HR function in regional meetings, working sessions, and presentations as required.

Requirements
  • Minimum5 years of relevant experiencein anHR Professional, HR Generalist, or HR Operationsrole.
  • Prior exposure toEmployee Relations,Recruitment, and/orLearning & Developmentis an advantage.
  • Strong working knowledge ofPhilippines labor laws and statutory requirements, including social insurance, is essential.
  • Exposure to or general awareness ofregional labor practicesis required.
  • Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Comfortable operating in afast‑paced, evolving, and matrixed environment.
  • Demonstratesinitiative, creativity, and strong execution discipline, with consistent follow‑through.
  • High attention to detail, particularly withdata accuracy, numerical inputs, and reporting integrity.
  • Proficient inMicrosoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word experience with tools such asCanva or basic media creationis an added advantage.
  • Approachable, confident, and able to buildeffective working relationshipsacross diverse employee groups.
