Job Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic, hands-on role that provides full-cycle Human Resources support to the organization. The incumbent formulates partnerships to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects our client's core values and business objectives of the organization. The incumbent reports to the Director, HR APAC.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted business partner to the business, providing support on HR functions like employee relations, performance management, compensation, and learning & development.
- Serve as the in-country subject matter expert on Philippine employment law and statutory compliance (e.g., DOLE, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), ensuring registrations, filings, and mandated workplace programs remain current.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and workforce integration processes, including documentation, benefits enrollment, service records, and new hire orientation.
- Maintain employee data and HR documentation in core HR systems to address data trends and audits.
- Provide support in employee engagement activities.
- Strengthen local HR foundations in collaboration with APAC and Global HR — employment contracts, handbook, code of conduct and disciplinary rules, job levels, and the probationary/regularization framework.
- Maintain and update HR policies and process documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage offboarding processes for employees to ensure smooth exit clearance.
- Participate in any miscellaneous HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related discipline.
- At least 8 years of HR experience with a minimum of 5 years as an HRBP.
- Strong understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
- Deep working knowledge of Philippine employment legislation and statutory requirements; familiarity with Singapore and Australia advantageous.
- Experience establishing or scaling HR operations in a growing office — policy build, statutory registrations, committee setup — strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, follow-up, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
- Ability to think independently and execute sound judgment in making decisions.
- Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Previous experience with HRIS software; ADP and Oracle preferred.
- Flexible to be able to work in Central time zone and Singapore time zone.
