About Us

Position Overview

The HR Supervisor will provide general Human Resources Business Partnering support to the assigned Project. The role will work closely with project leaders, employees, expatriates, and other stakeholders to ensure that HR requirements, employee concerns, and people-related initiatives are effectively managed and addressed.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced project environment. This role requires strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, particularly in working with expatriates and diverse stakeholders. The HR Supervisor should also be willing to travel to and visit project sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding day-to-day HR concerns, policies, processes, and employee-related matters.
  • Provide general HRBP support to the assigned Project and help address people-related requirements and concerns.
  • Partner with project leaders and stakeholders to understand workforce needs and provide timely HR support.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, programs, and initiatives across the project.
  • Help monitor employee concerns and recommend appropriate actions or solutions in coordination with the HR team.
  • Provide HR input to business planning, project mobilization, and organizational changes.
  • Identify critical roles, capability gaps, and talent risks and develop strategies to address.
  • Advise leaders on recruitment, retention, mobility, and deployment of key talent.
  • Address complex employee issues, workplace concerns, and organizational conflicts

Expatriate and Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with expatriates, project leaders, employees, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide HR and administrative support to expatriate employees and assist in addressing their day-to-day concerns and requirements.
  • Act as a reliable HR point of contact and help facilitate smooth communication between expatriates, local employees, project teams, and internal HR stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills when dealing with a diverse workforce.

Employee Relations and HR Operations

  • Assist in handling employee relations concerns and coordinate with the appropriate HR stakeholders for resolution.
  • Support onboarding, employee movement, documentation, and other employee lifecycle activities.
  • Ensure that HR records, employee documents, trackers, and reports are accurate, organized, and updated on time.
  • Assist in monitoring HR-related requirements, deadlines, and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders when necessary to support HR requirements.
  • Ensure HR practices are consistently applied and aligned with company policies and employment requirements.

Project and Site Support

  • Provide responsive and hands-on HR support in a dynamic project environment.
  • Be willing to travel to and visit the Hydro Project site when operational or employee-related needs require onsite HR support.
  • Assist in addressing immediate HR concerns that may arise at the project site.
  • Support other HR initiatives and projects as may be assigned.

Leadership Advisory & Coaching

  • Serve as a trusted adviser to business leaders on people-related decisions.
  • Coach managers on leadership, team effectiveness, communication, and change management.
  • Challenge management decisions where there may be significant people, culture, or compliance risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 to 8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with exposure to HR Business Partnering, employee relations, and general HR operations.
  • Experience supporting a project-based, construction, infrastructure, energy, or similar environment is an advantage.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management and relationship building.
  • Experience working with expatriates or supporting a diverse and multicultural workforce is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and establish effective working relationships across different levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A fast learner who can quickly adapt to new processes, situations, and business requirements.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work efficiently and deliver outputs within tight timelines.
  • Possesses a confident and proactive personality and is comfortable dealing with different types of stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and conduct site visits to support the Project as needed.
