Job Description

Job Summary 

As an HR Supervisor, the role revolves around overseeing various human resources functions within a centralized service model. A pivotal in driving operational excellence, fostering employee engagement, and supporting the strategic goals of the organization through effective HR management and service delivery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

  1. Providing leadership, guidance, and direction to a team of HR professionals within the shared services center. This involves setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  2. Overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including but not limited to employee data management, payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee relations. Ensuring that HR processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with company policies and regulations.
  3. Continuously assessing HR processes and procedures to identify opportunities for optimization and automation. Implementing changes to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and improve the overall efficiency of HR service delivery.
  4. Establishing and maintaining quality standards for HR services delivered by the shared services team. Conducting regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established procedures.
  5. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support HR functions, such as recruitment agencies, payroll providers, and HR technology vendors. Building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure effective service delivery and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
  6. Generating regular reports and analyzing HR data to track key metrics, trends, and performance indicators. Using data-driven insights to inform decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and measure the impact of HR initiatives.
  7. Ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies across all HR activities. Proactively identifying and addressing compliance risks, implementing controls, and staying abreast of changes in regulations that may impact HR operations.
  8. Serving as a point of contact for employees seeking HR assistance or information. Responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  9. Leading or supporting HR projects and initiatives within the shared services center, such as system implementations, process redesigns, or organizational changes. Planning, coordinating, and executing project activities to achieve desired outcomes within established timelines and budget.
  10. Must be willing to work in Brooke's Point, Palawan.

Qualification Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is typically required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR administration, HR operations, or a related area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. This includes skills in coaching, mentoring, delegation, and performance management.
  • Possess strong analytical abilities and be able to use data to make informed decisions and solve complex problems. 
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR-related software applications is often required. 

Minimum Experience Requirements

HR Supervisor position should have a combination of HR experience, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of HR best practices to effectively oversee HR functions and support the organization's goals and objectives.
