As an HR Sourcing Specialist, you are the scout of our recruitment team. While a Recruiter manages the interview process, your mission is to find the people who aren't even looking for a job yet. You specialize in the top of the funnelusing creative research, digital networking, and data-mining to identify and engage high-potential talent before our competitors do.
Core Responsibilities
- Passive Talent Identification: Use advanced search techniques (like Boolean search) on LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other niche platforms to find hidden candidates.
- Outreach & Engagement: Craft highly personalized, compelling messages to grab the attention of busy professionals and sell them on our company's vision and culture.
- Talent Pipeline Building: Create and maintain ready-to-hire pools of candidates for frequently filled or hard-to-fill roles, ensuring we aren't starting from scratch when a vacancy opens.
- Market Intelligence: Act as an internal consultant by providing recruiters and hiring managers with data on salary trends, competitor hiring, and where the best talent is hiding.
- Initial Screening: Conduct brief, high-energy introductory calls to gauge a candidate's interest, basic technical fit, and career motivations.
- Diversity Sourcing: Lead initiatives to find talent from underrepresented backgrounds, ensuring our candidate slates are inclusive and diverse.
- Database Management: Keep our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or CRM organized by tagging and categorizing talent for future opportunities.
