Job Summary:
Responsible for the development, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and operational procedures across the organization. This role ensures HR practices are consistent, clearly documented, legally compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. The Supervisor oversees the full policy and procedure lifecycle and collaborates closely with HR leadership, Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, and Company leaders to ensure clarity, adherence, and best practices organization-wide.
Job Description:
- Create, revise, document, standardize, distribute and maintain HR procedures that support and operationalize HR policies and business processes.
- Review existing policies for relevance, accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness; recommend updates or eliminations as needed.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance departments to ensure policies align with laws, regulations, and standards, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions where necessary to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Coordinate with department leaders and subject matter experts to ensure departmental procedures are accurate and aligned with company-wide policies.
- Maintain an organized and accessible HR policy manual and ensure timely updates.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Leaders, and subject matter experts to design, validate, and optimize end-to-end HR Policies and Procedures.
- Initiate and monitor the documentation and mapping of HR processes and workflows, including inputs, outputs, roles, controls, and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, and workflow diagrams to ensure consistency, efficiency, and transparency across HR functions.
- Ensure process maps accurately reflect current-state operations and support future-state improvements
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions on key policies and changes (e.g., Code of Conduct, Workplace Harassment, Attendance Policy).
- Serve as a subject matter expert on HR policy interpretation and application.
- Ensure effective communication of new or revised policies to all levels of staff. Conduct training sessions and support internal communication to educate staff on key policies and procedural changes.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external audits regarding policy documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Legal Studies, or related field (required).
- Master's degree or certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP, Lean Six Sigma) a plus.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in policy development, compliance, or a related area.
- 1 to 2 years of managerial or project management, process improvement and system support experience, preferred.
- Change Management, Leadership, and third-party relationship management experience.
- Strong understanding of policy development frameworks and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable policies.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient with HR Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership and project management skills, including the ability to build and manage effective internal and external relationships
