The HR Payroll Technical Specialist supports the maintenance, and enhancement of integrations between Workday, ADP, and other payrollrelated systems. The position partners closely with Payroll Operations, Integration Developers, Quality Engineers, Support Teams, and external vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and secure transmission of payrollcritical data across multiple systems.
The ideal candidate brings handson experience with ADP Payroll integrations, foundational payroll process knowledge, and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. They are comfortable working in a production support environmentcoordinating incident resolution, validating data mappings, supporting testing cycles, maintaining documentation, and contributing to process improvements and automation efforts. This role is suited for a detailoriented, technically curious individual eager to deepen their expertise in HRIS integrations, payroll interfaces, and secure fileexchange operations.

Position Responsibilities
Product & Requirement Support
- Assist in gathering business requirements and translating them into clear, concise user stories.
- Help refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog.
- Participate in planning, grooming Support team and review stories as needed.
Integration & Technical Coordination
- Support troubleshooting of integration issues related to Workday PECI, ADP inbound/outbound feeds, MFT/SFTP file transfers, and vendor file specifications.
- Work with technical teams to validate data mappings, file layouts, and integration logic.
- Coordinate with ADP and other vendors on interface updates, testing schedules, and change requests.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Coordinate with Quality Engineers , assist in building integration test cases for payroll data feeds, including PECI outputs and vendor transmissions.
- Review test cases , validate data accuracy, field mappings before deployment.
- Document test results, defects, and corrective actions.
Operations & Support
- Work closely with Support Teams that monitor daily integration runs, identify failures. Escalate issues to appropriate support/Payroll teams.
- Assist in documenting recurring problems and proposing improvements.
- Support payroll operations during cutovers, parallel tests, and audit periods.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain uptodate integration documentation, data flow diagrams, and runbooks.
- Help standardize processes related to file exchanges and other payroll vendor interfaces.
- Contribute ideas for automation, monitoring alerts, and exception handling.
Work Arrangement
- Amenable to work UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)
- Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite)
- Amenable to work in night shift (EST) schedule (at times, flexibility required on business need)
Qualifications
Required
- 35 years of experience in HRIS, Payroll Operations, Business Analysis, or Technical Product/Project/Support roles.
- Familiarity with ADP platforms, including ADP GlobalView, ADP Celergo, and GlobalMyView ESS.
- Comfort with file formats such as CSV, XML, flat files, and basic mapping concepts.
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in technical problemsolving.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience in IT Production Support, with understanding of Incident, Problem, Release and Change Management processes and practices.
- Available during core EST Working Hours with some expectation to be available outside core hours to cover required Ad Hoc support for Project or Steady State deliverables.
Preferred
- Basic understanding and exposure to Workday HCM and payroll-related modules (e.g., Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Core HCM).
- Familiarity with Asset and Inventory Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and job scheduling tools such as CA 7 Workload Automation.
- Experience with MFT/SFTP tools or vendor file transmissions.
- Basic SQL or data analysis skills.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and audit controls.
