Job Overview
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented
HR Generalist to assist in the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources team. This role involves handling a variety of HR responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, compliance, and maintaining employee records. The successful candidate should be well-organized, trustworthy, and an excellent communicator who can adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and background verification.
- Support onboarding by preparing employment contracts, organizing orientation sessions, and completing necessary documentation.
- Ensure all employee records are accurate, updated, and properly maintained within HR systems and files.
- Assist with payroll processing by reviewing and verifying attendance and timesheet records.
- Help implement HR policies and ensure they comply with company guidelines and labor regulations.
- Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and employee development activities.
- Act as a resource person for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, including policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
- Monitor attendance, leave applications, and absences to ensure proper tracking and compliance.
- Provide support in employee relations matters such as handling grievances and disciplinary procedures while maintaining confidentiality.
- Keep up to date with labor law changes and HR best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in an HR support or generalist role.
- Good knowledge of employment laws and standard HR procedures.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS or payroll systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
