The Marketing Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Marketing Team in executing product marketing activities within ethical and regulatory standards of the Philippine pharmaceutical industry. The role supports product launches, promotional materials, field force coordination, market research, and documentation to ensure timely and compliant marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Support
- Assist in the preparation, coordination, and implementation of marketing plans for assigned pharmaceutical products
- Support product launches, campaigns, and promotional activities
- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain) to ensure smooth marketing execution
- Monitor timelines and deliverables for marketing projects
Sales Force & Field Support
- Assist in the preparation of promotional materials, visual aids, and detailing aids for medical representatives
- Coordinate logistics for sales meetings, conventions, and training programs
- Help track distribution and inventory of promotional items
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure marketing materials comply with company policies, FDA Philippines regulations, and ethical marketing standards
- Assist in coordinating approval workflows for promotional materials
- Maintain organized records of marketing documents and approvals
Market Research & Reporting
- Support basic market research activities
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and sales support materials
- Consolidate sales feedback and field information for marketing analysis
Administrative Support
- Assist with purchase requests, vendor coordination, and budget tracking
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and filing documents
- Provide general support to the Marketing Team as needed
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in marketing, sales support, or related role
- Experience in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG company is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical marketing concepts is an advantage
