Job Description
The Human Resource Manager will lead, direct, and manage the day-to-day human resources activities of the company. The HR Manager will provide oversight and guidance in the development and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compliance, compensation and benefits, training and development, and administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Review job requirements and ensure recruitment, hiring, and selection processes are followed to fill positions with suitable candidates within agreed timeframes.
- Set performance appraisals to measure employee performance.
- Oversee and manage performance evaluations to drive high performance.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital.
- Design, update, and maintain company policies, procedures, and organizational structure. Ensure complete and updated job descriptions are available.
- Promote a happy and productive workplace by creating a culture that nurtures a positive working environment.
- Ensure company rules and regulations are up-to-date and monitor implementation and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain, update, and design pay plans and equal benefits programs for all employees.
- Review and evaluate salaries and wages periodically, recommending adjustments when necessary.
- Assess training needs, apply programs, monitor progress, and evaluate fulfillment of training objectives.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Administer filing systems to keep all records updated and organized.
- Review, negotiate, and administer service contracts and agreements in accordance with company requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a HR-related field at a managerial level.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Philippine labor legislation.
- Technical skills in documentation.
- Previous experience in training and mentoring.
- Knowledge of contract services and local government requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and lead a team.
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and capable of data analysis.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in basic computer software applications.
