Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site HR Manager position located in Taguig. The HR Manager will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing HR strategies, managing onboarding and training processes, ensuring staff engagement and development, and supporting day-to-day HR operations.

The role includes managing and mentoring junior HR staff, providing guidance on best practices, and ensuring consistency in HR processes across teams. The HR Manager will support a growing organization with three major caf branches currently in operation and multiple small mall kiosks planned for rollout in the near future. This includes overseeing workforce planning and staffing scalability, managing staff movement across locations, and ensuring compliance with hospitality-specific labor standards across both full-service cafs and kiosk formats. Additional responsibilities include supporting food safety and workplace health and safety training, handling disciplinary and grievance processes, and fostering a positive, service-oriented workplace culture. The HR Manager will act as a bridge between management and employees, promoting a productive and respectful environment aligned with the company's values.

Gross salary range: 30,000-35,000 per month.

Office Location: Superb office, BGC, Taguig.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with occassional shifts during Saturdays for special training and company events.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Retention strategies
  • Proficiency in Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution, and Compliance with Labor Policies
  • Hands-on experience managing and mentoring junior HR staff
  • Skills in Performance Management, Training, and Development
  • Ability to create and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Understanding of restaurant or caf operations, including staffing, scheduling, and high-volume service environments
  • Experience supporting multi-branch operations and scaling teams across different store formats
  • Familiarity with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll coordination
  • Experience using HR information systems; Sprout HR experience is preferred
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, along with strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or service-oriented industries is a strong advantage
