About Role

The HR Manager plays a pivotal role in aligning human resource practices with business strategies. This role oversees key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and compensation and benefit. The HR Manager ensures a positive work environment, fosters employee engagement, and supports talent development, contributing to the company's growth and culture.

Job Description

1. Strategic HR Leadership

Oversee the development and execution of local Human Resources strategy aligned with business objectives.

Serve as a strategic advisor to regional leadership on people-related matters.

Ensure HR initiatives reflect local laws, cultural practices, and company values across all jurisdictions

2. Compensation and Benefits

Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and incentives.

Conduct market research to ensure competitiveness.

Address employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.

3. Performance Management System

Oversee the performance appraisal process and ensure fairness and transparency.

Guide leaders and managers in coaching and performance conversations, including underperformance handling.

4. HR Technology & AI Integration

Champion the use of digital HR tools and AI in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, learning, engagement, and analytics.

Evaluate and implement solutions that automate workflows, personalize employee experiences, and improve decision-making.

Lead the local HR team's digital skill development to support transformation initiatives.

5. Talent Acquisition

Drive strategic recruitment initiatives using data and AI-driven platforms.

Oversee local employer branding and partnerships to attract and retain top talent.

Ensure efficient hiring processes while upholding diversity and local compliance.

6. Industrial Relationships

Maintain constructive relationships with employees and external labor bodies.

Lead negotiations or consultations on employment terms and grievances.

Represent the company in labor dispute resolution processes and government inspections.

Proactively manage potential employee relations issues to minimize legal risks.

7. HR Compliance

Ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, and ethical practices.

Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts related to people operations, workplace safety, and labor law compliance.

Oversee audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting.

Ensure ethical HR practices and data protection standards.

8. Cross Functional Collaboration

Partner with other departments for regional initiatives, expansions, or restructurings.

Support cultural integration across cross-border teams.

9. Office Management & Administrative Support

Oversee office facilities, transportation, procurement of supplies and office assets, and general administrative functions.

Organize employee events, travel arrangements, and logistics as needed.

Ensure efficient office operations by managing transportation, supplies, equipment, and facilities.

10. HR Operations Oversight

Review HR operational reports (e.g., recruitment status, headcount, turnover, payroll, leave, compliance, and office operations) and provide timely updates, insights, and guidance to leadership.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of HR data and reporting.

Identify trends, risks, and improvement areas from HR reports and drive corrective actions.

Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Administration, Business, or any related fields.

2. Minimum 5 years or experience in similar role

3. Solid knowledge of labor laws and HR practices.

4. Demonstrated experience managing change and scaling HR in a high-growth or matrixed organization.

5. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills across cultures and seniority levels.

6. Fluent in English
