About the Role
We are seeking an HR Governance and Employee Relations professional who will ensure a legally compliant, ethical, and employee-centered workplace. The role provides guidance on labor relations matters, develops compliant HR policies, and leads initiatives that strengthen employee experience, engagement, and performance. You will serve as a strategic partner to both leaders and employees, helping manage risks and uphold fair, consistent practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Labor & Regulatory Governance
- Interpret and ensure compliance with labor laws, regulatory requirements, and internal HR policies
- Manage audits, regulatory submissions, and compliance reviews with DOLE and other government agencies
- Regularly review and update HR policies, processes, and employment contracts for alignment with legal standards
- Advise HR and business leaders on risk mitigation strategies concerning employment practices
Employee Relations
- Lead the resolution of employee relations cases including grievances, performance issues, workplace misconduct, and disciplinary actions
- Conduct fair and thorough workplace investigations and document findings
- Foster a harmonious work environment through proactive engagement and communication strategies
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation between employees and leaders where needed
Stakeholder Collaboration & Capability Building
- Provide guidance and training to managers and HR partners on employee relations, labor policies, and people leadership practices
- Partner with Culture & Engagement teams on initiatives that boost employee satisfaction and retention
- Support change management and organizational development efforts that reinforce compliance and productivity
