Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Pasig, with the option for some work-from-home flexibility, for an HR Generalist at New Age Digital PH. The HR Generalist will manage day-to-day human resources activities, including implementing HR policies, overseeing employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with HR management standards. They will play a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting employee relations, and assisting with recruitment efforts. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • End-to-end recruitment: Sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for regular, intern, and consultant roles.
  • Managing the TikTok Affiliate Center and other platform-specific recruitment if required.
  • Facilitating seamless onboarding and orientation for new hires and interns.

2. Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Ensuring 100% compliance with Philippine Labor Laws (DOLE regulations, 13th-month pay, regularization).
  • Managing the disciplinary process, including drafting Notices to Explain (NTE) and conducting administrative hearings.
  • Drafting and updating employee contracts, waivers, and internal memos.

3. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll

  • Overseeing government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and ensuring accurate remittance.
  • Managing payroll transitions (e.g., transitioning from monthly-paid to daily-paid structures).
  • Addressing employee queries regarding deductions, refunds, and salary adjustments.

4. Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintaining and updating the HR Workforce Dashboard (Headcount, Attrition, and Recruitment metrics).
  • Utilizing Google Sheets/Excel for advanced data visualization and productivity tracking.
  • Ensuring all digital records and tools (Canva, Hik-Connect, HRIS) are managed efficiently.

5. Performance & Culture

  • Supervising interns and junior staff, providing technical training and spot-checks on deliverables.
  • Coordinating workplace events and employee engagement initiatives (e.g., holiday events and team huddles).

Technical Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Familiarity with design tools like Canva.
  • Experience with workplace security/monitoring software (e.g., Hik-Connect, Tuya).
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Philippine Labor Code.
  • Communication: Exceptional professional writing skills for memos, announcements, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Bonus points: Experience with Sprout

  2. Data Accuracy: 100% accuracy in payroll deductions and workforce reporting.
  3. Turnaround Time: Efficiency in filling open vacancies and resolving employee grievances.
