Job Description

Executive Recruitment Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a financial technology company in the Philippines, operating as an Electronic Money Issuer licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. They provide financial services through their e-wallet and develop payment solutions for businesses nationwide. The role will be based in Ortigas, Pasig City, with onsite work set up and day-shfit schedule.

Our client is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to manage and support the company's day-to-day HR functions in a growing fintech environment. The role will cover recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll and benefits coordination, employee relations, HR policies, and general HR administration. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, able to work independently, and comfortable handling multiple HR functions in a lean organization.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Handle employee onboarding, offboarding, personnel records, and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate payroll, attendance, leave, benefits, and statutory requirements with Finance and relevant providers.
  • Support employee relations, including employee concerns, performance matters, and disciplinary processes. • Coordinate performance evaluation, training, and employee development activities.
  • Maintain and implement HR policies, procedures, forms, and trackers.
  • Prepare basic HR reports and workforce updates for management.
  • Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of employee information and records.
  • Support management in improving HR processes as the company grows.
  • Perform other HR-related functions as may be assigned.

Key Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably from the banking sector
  • Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR practices.
  • Experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a lean or fast-growing organization where the HR function covers multiple areas.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, and digital HR tools.
  • Experience supporting regulated or financial services organizations.
