Job Description
Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to handle a variety of HR functions within our organization. The HR Generalist will be responsible for assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and other HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting employees throughout their employment lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including orientation sessions, completion of paperwork, and introduction to company policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and performance management processes.
- Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and effectiveness of HR programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in HR roles, with exposure to various HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and HRIS software.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
