The HR Director is responsible for leading the organizations overall human resources strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals, and fostering a positive, productive, and compliant workplace culture. This role oversees all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training, compliance, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the organizations mission and long-term goals.
- Oversee the full HR cycle: recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and employee retention.
- Lead HR team members, ensuring efficient delivery of HR services across all departments.
- Create and implement HR policies, procedures, and organizational standards.
- Manage employee relations and handle complex HR issues with fairness and confidentiality.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll coordination, and performance appraisal systems.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and internal policies.
- Plan and lead organizational development initiatives, training programs, and succession planning.
- Guide management in decision-making related to people, culture, and workforce planning.
- Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for executive leaders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (Masters degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles (typically 812 years in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial/director role).
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to implement operational HR solutions.
