Job Description

The Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in the Philippines. As an integral member of the HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to Ecosa, ensuring compliance with Philippine labour laws, and implementing HR programs and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with Ecosa's business objectives and values
  • Partner with hiring managers to calibrate job requirements and interview criteria, ensuring the recruitment team is searching for the right skills and cultural fit from day one
  • Partner with department heads on strategic workforce planning; proactively identifying talent gaps and resource requirements to ensure the organizational structure is built for scale and operational excellence
  • Own the final offer process by managing salary discussions and effectively selling our company value proposition to ensure high candidate acceptance rate
  • Design and implement performance review cycles, including goal-setting frameworks, calibration sessions, and succession planning to drive accountability and retention
  • Analyze performance data to identify top performers, flight risks, and development needs, partnering with leaders on coaching, promotions, and PIPs
  • Conduct stay interviews and pulse surveys to forecast trends and recommend proactive interventions
  • Collaborate with leaders to create tailored L&D programs, including skills training, leadership development, and mentoring initiatives to build internal bench strength
  • Measure L&D ROI through engagement surveys and skill assessments, ensuring programs support business growth and employee satisfaction
  • Drive engagement strategies like recognition programs and team-building to boost morale and reduce attrition
  • Act as a principled advocate for company values, coaching leaders to model desired behaviors and intervening proactively when business practices or team dynamics drift from our cultural standard
  • Consult with leaders and serve as a trusted advisor to managers/employees on complex employee relations, policies, conflict resolution, and disciplinary proceedings; identify root-cause trends, ensure Philippine labor law compliance, and drive interventions to improve team health and mitigate risks
  • Leverage HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, time-to-hire,) to provide actionable insights and dashboards for leadership, influencing strategic decisions

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine labour laws, regulations, and HR best practices
  • Experience in designing and implementing HR programs
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
