Job Overview
- Responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with company standards
- This role supervises housekeeping staff, assigns tasks, and ensures high-quality service delivery
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of the housekeeping team, including room and public attendants
- Inspects rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to the Hotels standards
- Trains new team members and provides refresher to existing attendants on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
- Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Schedules staff shifts and assign duties to ensure efficient coverage
- Addresses guest or resident complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Prepares reports on housekeeping performance and occupancy status
Requirements
- Bachelors degree holder; hospitality-related training is an advantage
- at least 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping field, preferably in a supervisory role
- experience in hotel, or resort housekeeping and knowledge of housekeeping software or property management systems are advantage
- with knowledge on cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment
- strong organizational and time-management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting
