To create a great first and lasting impression of CPK using Guest Relations Techniques and to timely and appropriately greet and seat guests in strict adherence to CPK standard procedures.
Responsibilities
- To timely and hospitably serve guest in adherence to CPK policies and standards
- To always observe and respond to guests needs accordingly
- To memorize menu items, wines, beers, and cocktails offered in CPK by heart
- To read posted information and follows through accordingly
- To answer phones and direct calls using telephone etiquette
- To promptly and fully inform immediate supervisor of all problems or unusual matters of significance; take prompt and corrective action when necessary or suggest alternative courses of action
- To foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that is conducive to maximize employee moral and productivity
- To help train new employees and trainees based on CPK standard
- To attend all company meetings and seminars, as directed by management
- To be properly dressed in uniform with nametag and to maintain professional appearance throughout shift
- To attend to special projects or other responsibilities related to the business of the company as assigned by FOH-MOD
Specific Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a timely manner
- Use appropriate wait list techniques to maintain accurate and even seating and time quotes
- Answer basic questions about the CPK menu
- Greet guests with a warm and genuine smile within 1 minute upon entering; provide all guests with a salutation; follow host points of service
- Seat and greet guests appropriately using CPK standard policies and procedures
- Set up and stock station with all the necessary materials; conduct periodic inventory of station materials and facilities
- Check menus for cleanliness; use Opening checklist as a guideline
- Assist with walk-in/take-out telephone orders as business warrants following CPK ordering techniques and guidelines
- Be aware of internal marketing moments and use internal marketing techniques to make guests feel special and important
- Display knowledge of menu and food ingredients
- Maintain dining room, wait area, and restroom cleanliness every 1530 minutes as directed by management
- Use clean up checklist and have Manager check out stations before leaving
- Conduct CPKids Tour and assist management team in in-store events/activities
- Assist with reservation or big party inquiries and suggest specific or mix of menu items
Hazards of Work
- Exposure to wet floors, noise, and extreme temperature
- Stooping, bending, exerting well-paced mobility and/or standing for a period up to 8 hours or more in length
- Lifting weights up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis
