The Head - S trategic Foresights & Insights (SIFT) for Pharmaceuticals will be the team's therapeutics and healthcare-system expert, responsible for translating complex pharma area dynamics into clear, decision-ready insights and future-facing implications for brand and portfolio teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Therapeutic & Market Leadership (PH Pharma)
- Be the internal point person for therapeutic area understanding (disease landscape, patient pathways, adherence barriers).
- Maintain strong working knowledge of the Philippine pharma environment: key players and local practice patterns.
- Provide practical interpretation of what market movements mean for brand performance and portfolio opportunities.
- Data & Analytics Leadership (IQVIA-type / Pharma Data)
- Lead analysis and interpretation of pharma-related datasets (e.g., IQVIA, sales/channel signals, competitive intelligence).
- Integrate multiple sources into a coherent so what story, turning data into actions
- Primary Research with Doctors (HCP IDIs)
- Design and execute doctor IDIs (and occasional small group discussions
- Confidently engage across physician types and synthesize differences by segment.
- Ensure research is conducted with appropriate ethics and privacy standards.
- Report Writing & Insight Storytelling
- Produce high-quality market research reports summarizing qualitative findings
- Translate complex clinical language into business-friendly narratives
- Foresight: Implications, Scenarios, and What's Next
- Connect near-term insights to future shifts (e.g., evolving standards of care, new entrants, digital care).
- Contribute pharma specific perspectives into broader foresight work (from trends to implications to opportunity spaces).
- Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner with Marketing, Medical, Sales to ensure insights translate into action.
- Manage research partners/vendors when needed
Hiring Criteria
- 10+ years experience in pharma insights / market research / consulting within healthcare/pharma.
- Demonstrated ability to understand therapeutics and discuss credibly with physicians
- Hands-on experience with pharma datasets (IQVIA or equivalent sources) and ability to translate data into business recommendations.
- Strong experience conducting HCP qualitative research, especially doctor IDIs.
- Proven track record of writing clear, structured market research reports from qualitative findings.
