About the role

As Head of Vendor Management, you'll lead Converge's end-to-end strategy for technology and service partnerships that power our product portfolio from connectivity and cloud to entertainment, security, and smart devices. You'll develop and execute the vendor ecosystem strategy that supports our telco-to-techco evolution, ensuring that every partnership drives innovation, profitability, and growth.

You'll manage a team of vendor relationship professionals, oversee key alliances with global technology providers, and optimize commercial value through effective contract management, incentive utilization, and joint go-to-market initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and own the overall vendor and partnership strategy for the Product Organization.
  • Lead vendor selection, evaluation, and governance processes to ensure performance and compliance.
  • Manage strategic partnerships with technology providers, distributors, and principals.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, optimize contract value, and oversee renewals and service level agreements.
  • Partner with Product Managers to identify new technology or content partnerships aligned with product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and Finance to ensure smooth vendor onboarding and alignment with internal policies.
  • Work with Marketing and Product Enablement to maximize vendor program benefits (rebates, co-marketing, and training).
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and annual joint planning sessions with key vendors.
  • Mentor and grow the Vendor Management team, establishing best practices for partner engagement and ecosystem health.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in vendor management, strategic partnerships, or business development ideally in telecom, ICT, or technology distribution.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in negotiation, cost optimization, and alliance management.
  • Experience managing high-value technology partnerships across multiple domains.
  • Ability to translate technical offerings into commercial opportunities.
  • Excellent relationship-building, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills; ability to build frameworks and scale processes.
