Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for designing, leading, and optimizing SHG's end-to-end supply chain across two business units: restaurants (procurement to store delivery) and retail (warehousing and distribution operations). This role ensures the supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, reliable, and aligned with SHG's growth and service objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement SHG's overall supply chain strategy for both restaurant and retail operations.
  • Drive cost reduction, service improvement, and process efficiency initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align supply chain operations with business goals.

B. Restaurant Supply Chain

  • Oversee the full cycle: demand planning, procurement, vendor management, warehousing, logistics, and last-mile delivery.
  • Ensure reliable supply of food, beverage, and packaging materials.
  • Lead sourcing strategies focused on quality, cost, and sustainability.
  • Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

C. Retail Warehousing & Distribution

  • Lead and optimize warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries to retail outlets and customers.
  • Introduce best practices in warehouse automation, safety, and compliance.

D. People & Performance

  • Lead and mentor teams across procurement, planning, warehousing, and logistics.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong internal capabilities and succession pipelines.

E. Technology & Innovation

  • Leverage digital tools, ERP systems, and analytics for better planning and decision-making.
  • Drive automation and data-driven improvements across the supply chain.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure operational excellence.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong background in procurement, warehousing, logistics, and distribution
  • Experience in food & beverage, retail, or FMCG industries preferred
  • Proficient in ERP and supply chain management systems
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership, collaboration, and integrity
