International Workplace Group plc has been at the forefront of the flexible workspace revolution for more than 30 years. We have made it possible for organisations and individuals everywhere to take a new approach to the traditional working day.

We provide them with choice through our portfolio of brands, including Regus, Spaces, HQ, Signature, and No18, as well as commercial real estate brokerage and managed office solutions.

About The Role

We are looking for a senior leader to shape and govern end-to-end finance service design across a complex global operating environment. This role is responsible for building scalable, controlled, and efficient finance service models that support operational excellence, standardization, and sustainable transformation.

The successful candidate will lead the design and governance of core finance processes, ensuring they are fit for purpose, measurable, and built for scale. This role will work closely with operations, finance, technology, and transformation stakeholders to improve process performance, strengthen governance, and enable meaningful change across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Service Design Leadership. Own the end-to-end design of finance services and process blueprints across key finance streams, including P2P, O2C, R2R, and related processes. Define process standards, service flows, controls, hand-offs, SLAs, and operating principles to support consistency and scalability.

Process Governance. Establish and maintain strong governance across finance processes. Define accountability, decision rights, and process ownership frameworks. Ensure approved designs are implemented consistently and sustained effectively in business-as-usual operations.

Performance and Service Architecture. Design meaningful SLA, KPI, and performance frameworks that measure outcomes, not just activity. Partner with operational leaders to identify and address root causes of backlog, service failure, escalation, and inefficiency.

Controls and Risk by Design. Embed appropriate controls into process design from the outset. Partner with risk, controls, audit, and finance stakeholders to strengthen compliance, reduce control gaps, and improve audit readiness through better design.

Transformation Oversight. Provide design and governance leadership across finance transformation initiatives, including process change, system improvement, automation, and operating model evolution. Ensure transitions into BAU are well structured, sustainable, and value focused.

Continuous Improvement and Standardization. Drive simplification, standardization, and automation across finance services. Challenge unnecessary complexity, reduce process variation, and improve how work is delivered across teams.

Stakeholder Partnership. Build trusted relationships across finance, operations, transformation, and technology teams. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence decisions through clarity, credibility, and sound judgment.

People Leadership. Lead and develop a high-performing team. Set a high bar for accountability, execution, and quality while creating clarity of purpose and direction.

Qualifications And Experience

  • 10 to 15 years of leadership experience in finance operations, shared services, service design, process governance, or transformation
  • Proven experience managing large-scale finance projects, systems implementations, or process migrations in a global environment.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, particularly across P2P, O2C, and R2R
  • Experience designing scalable operating models, governance structures, and process control frameworks
  • Strong background in ERP-enabled environments, transformation delivery, and operational improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to work across complex stakeholder groups and influence at senior levels and different geographies
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to adapt style based on audience
  • Experience in continuous improvement, process excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, or related disciplines is an advantage
  • Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-accountability environments

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means creating finance services that are simpler, stronger, more scalable, and more sustainable. It means turning complexity into clarity, improving performance through design, and ensuring teams operate against clear standards with the right governance, controls, and accountability.
