Job Description
- Lead, mentor, and manage the team of Business Relationship Managers to achieve branch and retail banking targets.
- Oversee the development, marketing, and performance of liability products (savings accounts, deposits, and other retail banking products).
- Develop and implement strategies to increase branch revenue, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Monitor and analyze business performance metrics, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance branch operations and customer experience.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Head Of Retail Banking Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in retail banking, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing branch operations or business relationship teams.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing liability products.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards.
