Role Overview
We are building a regulated insurance distribution business across Southeast Asia, starting with Indonesia and Thailand. The business model relies on a high-volume partner network and disciplined execution at the operational level.
The Head of Operations is responsible for end-to-end operational execution. This role owns the systems, processes, performance management, and operational discipline required to turn distribution into measurable revenue at scale.
This is a senior role for an experienced operator who has built and run operations in growth-stage, multi-market environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and own the full operating model for partner-based distribution
- Build and manage operational processes, reporting, and performance dashboards
- Own activation and productivity of the distribution network
- Set and enforce operational KPIs and cadence (daily / weekly / monthly)
- Build playbooks for onboarding, training, and performance management
- Manage operational interfaces between field teams, partners, and central functions
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Prepare the operating foundation for regional scale

- Clear, measurable performance metrics across the distribution network
- High activation and sustained productivity of partners
- Repeatable operating processes that reduce founder dependency
- Operational readiness to scale into additional markets
Candidate Profile
- 7+ years of experience in operations, field operations, marketplace ops, or distribution-heavy businesses
- Proven track record of building operational systems from scratch
- Experience managing multi-market or multi-location operations
- Strong analytical and execution discipline
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, early-stage environments
- High ownership mentality; low tolerance for operational ambiguity
Preferred Background
- Experience in fintech, insurance, telco, logistics, marketplaces, or similar operationally complex sectors
- Experience operating in Southeast Asia
- Experience managing field teams and partner networks
