Job Description

An established FMCG organisation is seeking a Marketing Director to lead regional marketing strategy and execution for a fastmoving consumer goods (FMCG) business. This role will partner closely with the APAC Sales leadership to drive brand growth, market penetration, and revenue performance across diverse markets in the region.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong balance of strategic brand leadership, gotomarket execution, and sales enablement, with proven experience working across multiple APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and own the APAC marketing strategy, aligned with global brand objectives and regional sales targets.
  • Drive longterm brand equity while delivering shortterm commercial impact.
  • Act as a key business partner to the APAC Sales Director and country leaders.
  • Go-to-Market & Commercial Support
  • Lead regional gotomarket strategies, including product launches, promotions, and pricing support.
  • Translate consumer and market insights into actionable sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop marketing programs that directly support customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Brand & Portfolio Management
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and communication across all APAC markets.
  • Ensure brand consistency while allowing for effective localization.
  • Manage portfolio strategy across key FMCG categories.
  • Travel Commitment
  • Travel 20% across APAC, including emerging and frontier markets.

Required Competencies:


  • 10–15 years of marketing leadership experience within FMCG / Consumer Goods.
  • Deep understanding of APAC consumer markets and retail channels
  • Strong people leadership experience combined with a datadriven mindset and robust analytical and decisionmaking skills .
  • Strong exposure to Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, or mixed emerging/developed APAC markets is highly advantageous.
