About the Role
Lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive training and development strategy for the agency distribution channel that aligns with company objectives and drives business outcomes.
The Head of Distribution Learning & Development is responsible for:
- Developing and implementing an overall training strategy that supports agency channel business objectives and stakeholder requirements
- Building and maintaining the organizational capability—people, processes, tools, and structure—necessary to deliver expected training outcomes
- Driving continuous improvement within the function by staying current with learning technology trends, learner preferences, industry practices, and market developments
- Designing targeted training programs for new distribution channels and agency models
- Partnering across business units to support cross-functional learning initiatives
Qualifications:
- University degree required
- Minimum 10 years of management-level experience in training, development, and education of sales teams and field force within the financial services industry
- Direct sales experience in insurance products is advantageous
Required Skills:
- Strategy execution and change management
- Training needs analysis, curriculum development, and program evaluation
- Project management and agile methodologies
- Adult learning principles and instructional design
- Leadership, communication, and stakeholder collaboration
- Financial acumen and results orientation
Preferred Skills:
