Role Description The Head of HR is a full-time, on-site role based in Taguig, responsible for leading PalmPay's people strategy and HR operations. This role oversees the development and implementation of HR policies, processes, and programs that support organizational growth and employee engagement. Day-to-day activities include managing recruitment and talent acquisition, guiding performance management, and overseeing compensation and benefits frameworks. The Head of HR will advise leadership on labor and employment law compliance, handle complex employee relations matters, and support organizational development initiatives. This position also partners with senior stakeholders to foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with PalmPay's mission and values.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience leading HR functions at a senior level.
- In-depth knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and practical experience applying regulatory requirements in HR practices.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and improving HR Policies that support organizational effectiveness and compliance.
- Demonstrated capability in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, coaching, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and compensation and benefits oversight.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
- Experience working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments, ideally within fintech or technology-driven companies.
