Your Role
As the Head of Facilities Maintenance, you will oversee the facilities management services for the retail group and service station operators across Astron and United Petroleum. You will ensure that facilities operations are optimized across a national network of over 500 retail service stations - managing 700+ work orders per week.

You will:
  • Implement and continuously improve facilities management services, including ad hoc, proactive, and preventative maintenance, as well as capital works across a national retail network.
  • Manage service providers and contractors to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Develop and propose planned maintenance programs that deliver commercial and operational benefits.
  • Coordinate fuel system and signage/branding maintenance activities.
  • Maintain and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure assets and work orders are accurately tracked and processed according to team KPIs.
  • Ensure on-site service delivery adheres to OH&SE guidelines.
  • Drive process and cost efficiencies while introducing innovative technical solutions.
What You Need
Non-negotiables:
  • 5-10 years of experience in Building/Facilities Maintenance, preferably within a national retail environment.
  • Previous experience leading a facilities team of 50 or more members.
  • Trade background with engineering or building qualifications and a strong continuous improvement focus.
  • Strong computer proficiency (MS Office, email, and CMMS experience).
  • Ability to interpret pricing, quotations, and technical documentation.
Preferred skills/expertise:
  • Experience in facilities management for high-volume, multi-site retail environments.
  • Background in managing facilities for retail/service stations or convenience chains (e.g., Jollibee, Robinsons, 7-Eleven, Golden Arches/McDonald's, Max's Group, Lawsons, Puregold, SM Mart).
  • Exposure to the Petroleum or convenience retail industry.
  • Competence in reading building plans.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building and service station operations.
Note: Candidates with property management backgrounds from BPO or office-type environments will not be considered, as the client requires retail-focused facilities management experience.
