I. ROLE OVERVIEW
The Head of Corporate Communications is responsible for shaping, protecting, and amplifying the corporate reputation of the company.
This includes leading corporate communications, media relations, internal communications, crisis communication, executive messaging, and the pursuit of corporate awards and citations. The role ensures consistent communication across all internal and external channels, strengthens stakeholder trust, and supports the company's strategic and reputational objectives.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Corporate Communications Strategy
- Develop and implement the corporate communications roadmap aligned with organizational priorities.
- Craft messaging frameworks for corporate announcements, investor updates, business milestones, and strategic initiatives.
- Manage communication channels including corporate website, newsletters, internal bulletins, email campaigns, and executive communications.
B. Public Relations & Media Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, industry groups, and influencers.
- Manage the release of corporate statements, press releases, media advisories, and interview/briefing materials.
- Ensure accurate and positive media coverage representing the company's achievements and initiatives.
C. Reputation Management & Crisis Response
- Monitor traditional and social media, identifying reputational risks and opportunities.
- Lead the crisis communication protocol, including message development, stakeholder coordination, and real-time response planning.
- Work with Legal, HR, Project Development, and senior executives to ensure unified crisis messaging.
D. Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
- Develop and deliver internal communication programs to enhance employee alignment, culture, and engagement.
- Partner with HR and business units to cascade initiatives, leadership messages, and organizational updates.
- Ensure consistent and compelling internal storytelling across intranet, town halls, and internal campaigns.
E. Corporate Awards & Citations
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic award opportunities for the Group and its executives.
- Manage award submissions, documentation, and coordination with awarding organizations.
- Maintain a record of recognitions for use in communications, PR, and corporate credentialing.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate communications or PR, preferably in real estate, conglomerates, or highly regulated industries.
- Strong crisis communication and media relations background.
- Exceptional writing, speechwriting, and editorial skills.
- Experience handling corporate events, briefings, and executive communication.
