Job Description

The VP for Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion across the Philippines. This role leads the sale of scalable talent acquisition and recruitment operations solutions delivered nationwide. It combines hands-on business development with ownership of go-to-market strategy, commercial structure, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Revenue Growth

o Drive new business acquisition across our service offerings:

  • Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO)
  • Project-based and hard-to-fill recruitment support
  • Recruitment operations and administrative services

o Build, manage, and convert a qualified sales pipeline of mid-market and enterprise clients across the Philippines.

o Lead consultative sales discussions with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Operations leaders.

o Own the end-to-end sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, pricing, proposals, and deal closure.

o Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and growth targets.

Solution Design & Offshore Positioning

o Position Philippine-based and nationwide delivery models as a strategic advantage by highlighting scalability, efficiency, and cost optimization.

o Partner with delivery, recruiting, and operations teams to design scalable, margin-aware solutions.

o Ensure commercial commitments align with delivery capabilities and service standards.

Go-To-Market & Commercial Strategy

o Contribute to go-to-market strategy, ICP definition, and value proposition refinement.

o Support the development and refinement of pricing models, service packaging, and commercial governance structures.

o Participate in revenue forecasting, pipeline reviews, and growth planning.

o Identify cross-sell and expansion opportunities within the company and affiliate client bases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Growth roles, including selling to midmarket or enterprise clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and activate client pipelines and professional networks and existing relationships to drive early business development results.
  • Proven success selling services-based solutions, such as:

- RPO or recruitment outsourcing

- Talent acquisition or recruitment operations services

- HR services, people-operations outsourcing, or BPO solutions.

  • Experience selling services delivered from a Philippine-based operating or delivery model.
  • Strong track record managing complex, consultative sales cycles
  • Travel may be required based on business needs.

Preferred

  • Experience in organizations with Philippine delivery hubs (RPO, HR BPO, shared services)
  • Familiarity with ATS and HR technology ecosystems (e.g., Workday, Salesforce)
  • Experience building or scaling a business development or commercial function in a high-growth or service-based organization.
  • Exposure to global contracting structures (e.g., MSAs, SOWs), pricing frameworks, and service-level agreements
