HW Engineer (Associate II)

Job Description Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for documentation, testing, basic design, development and analysis of mechanical components and products.

Job Description:

• Modifies Design of Component & Assembly Level 3D CAD Models
• Participates in Design Review / Drawing Review / DR Review activities
• Learns and performs Tolerance Analysis of low complexity-assemblies
• Identifies Design or technical problems, either potential or a result of testing and evaluation
• Contributes Design Concepts
• Performs Product Testing and Evaluation to ensure compliance with Product Standards
• Performs Parts Costing using aPriori Tool, to help verify design / cost feasibility
• Ensures proper maintenance / documentation of CAD files using PDMLink and Merlin
• Performs Parts Testing and Evaluation to ensure compliance with Parts Standards
• Prepares Evaluation, Test & Analysis Reports after performing evaluation and testing activities
