About the Role

The Growth Analyst (Experimentation) will own the company's experimentation analytics engine. This role is responsible for ensuring experiments are properly configured, accurately measured, and translated into clear, decision-ready insights.

This is not a design-led CRO role it is a data-first experimentation and measurement position focused on SQL analysis, tracking integrity, and structured growth reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in messy real-world data environments and brings rigor, clarity, and strong business judgment to growth decisions.

Responsibilities

Experiment Operations

  • Configure experiments and feature flags in PostHog (targeting, variants, exclusions)
  • QA experiment variants and tracking before launch
  • Monitor experiment health and data integrity during runs
  • Produce structured readouts including statistical confidence, caveats, and recommendations

Analytics & Reporting

  • Answer ad-hoc growth questions using SQL and internal data sources
  • Maintain a recurring Experiment Pipeline Report for executive visibility
  • Investigate conversion rate changes using a structured root cause analysis (RCA) approach

Measurement Hygiene

  • Maintain event definitions for key funnel metrics
  • Debug tracking inconsistencies and document assumptions
  • Ensure ongoing measurement integrity across growth initiatives

Competencies and Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 35+ years in Growth, Product Analytics, or Experimentation roles
  • Advanced SQL querying with strong analytical rigor (sanity checks, reconciliations, assumptions)
  • Hands-on A/B testing and experimentation experience (design, implementation, QA, feature flags)
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) fundamentals: hypothesis framing, segmentation, guardrails
  • Experience with event tracking architecture, debugging, and maintaining event taxonomies
  • Funnel and cohort analysis experience
  • Statistical reasoning and confidence interpretation
  • Executive-ready reporting and clear written communication for insight storytelling

Nice-to-Have

  • Deep subscription or DTC business experience (LTV, churn, cohorts, cancel flows)
  • PostHog or similar experimentation platform experience (funnels, cohorts, experiments)
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Analytics, experiment, or data science certifications
  • Bachelor's in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field
