Job Description
Directs, plans, organizes and controls the execution of all tasks of the Group in a totally coordinated effort with other PHILGUARANTEE units as well as with concerned government and private entities;
Directs and oversees the preparation of strategic plans, objectives, targets and budgetary requirements to implement all initiatives of the Group;
Establishes an effective system of office administration and general management of the Group;
Develops and establishes linkages with teams, partners or other stakeholders across government and relevant sectors;
Monitors the timely delivery of services to clients of the Group;
Reviews and/or signs documents, correspondence/communications, vouchers, reports, and other papers relative to the management and delivery of required services from the Group;
Oversees accounts origination, marketing, processing and packaging, and facilitates the necessary endorsement/approval from concerned Board Committee/s and/or Board of Directors;
Maintains the level of quality standards imposed by the Corporation and oversight bodies;
Adopts a feedback mechanism system, monitors its implementation, and determines actions to address customer feedback;
Assumes primary responsibility in the implementation of performance management system for the Group;
Identifies career development needs of the officers and staff of the Group; and
Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education: Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job, preferably with Master's Degree OR Certificate in Leadership and Management from CSC
Work Experience: 10 years of relevant experience preferably in financial services, investment, credit, or marketing experience in a bank with a minimum of 5 years supervisory/ management experience
Training: 120 hours of supervisory/ management learning and development intervention
