About the Role:
The Group Channel Manager for Modern Trade (VisMin) is responsible for leading and growing key retail accounts across the Visayas and Mindanao by developing and executing strategic sales and channel plans aligned with business objectives.
The role involves managing and coaching a sales team, driving performance through data analysis and effective use of reporting tools, and ensuring excellent in-store execution of promotions and merchandising initiatives. It also requires building strong relationships with key customers and cross-functional stakeholders, influencing business decisions, and ensuring operational efficiency across territories. Ultimately, the position is accountable for delivering sales targets, driving sustainable growth, and responding proactively to the dynamic retail environment through decisive action and ownership of results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow key retail accounts across the Visayas and Mindanao.
- Develop and execute strategic sales and channel plans aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and coach a sales team.
- Drive performance through data analysis and effective use of reporting tools.
- Ensure excellent in-store execution of promotions and merchandising initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Influence business decisions and ensure operational efficiency across territories.

Qualifications:
- With minimum of 10 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with strong exposure to Modern Trade operations.
- Proven experience managing key national retail accounts.
- Experience handling Visayas and/or Mindanao markets, including familiarity with major regional retailers (e.g., Gaisano, Metro, Prince Retail Group, etc.).
- At least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for sales analysis, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Strong ability to develop strategies and translate them into actionable plans.
- Demonstrates entrepreneurial mindset with focus on driving growth in Modern Trade channels.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
