As we continue to grow, we are seeking for a Group Brand Manager - Gastroenterology for our brand new Manila office in the Philippines.

Role Purpose

The Group Brand Manager - Gastroenterology will be responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing strategies for Alfasigma's Gastroenterology portfolio in the Philippines. The role ensures achievement of sales, market share, and profitability objectives by driving brand positioning, product promotion, and customer engagement across healthcare professionals (HCPs), hospitals, and pharmacies.

Your role

Strategic & Brand Management

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing strategies and tactical plans for the Gastroenterology portfolio (e.g., Normix/Xifaxan, Enterolactis, Esoxx, Onligol, etc.).
  • Drive brand positioning, differentiation, and value propositions aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence, market analysis (IQVIA, Nielsen, field feedback) and identify opportunities for portfolio growth.
  • Build annual brand plans, forecasts, and promotional budgets.

Promotional & Medical Activities

  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, CME programs, medical education initiatives, and digital engagement strategies for HCPs.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance in all promotional materials.
  • Develop promotional content (detail aids, brochures, digital campaigns, training tools) for field force deployment.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Sales, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with execution.
  • Support sales team training and ensure consistent product knowledge and messaging.
  • Partner with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), societies, and hospitals to build strong product advocacy.

Business & Financial Management

  • Prepare product P&Ls, track performance vs. budget, and ensure optimal allocation of promotional spend.
  • Monitor sales trends, prescription audits, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Drive pricing, reimbursement, and market access initiatives in coordination with regulatory and commercial teams.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all promotional and marketing activities comply with Philippine FDA regulations, company SOPs, and global compliance standards.
  • Monitor ethical promotion practices and maintain high professional standards.

Who are you

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences or Business (MBA is considered a plus).
  • Between 5 and 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, any exposure to Gastroenterology or specialty care products is considered a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the Philippine pharmaceutical market, regulatory environment, and HCP engagement landscape.
  • Proven track record in brand management, marketing plan execution, and achieving sales/market share growth.
  • Experience in working with distributors/partners is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with IQVIA/market research tools preferred.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and results-oriented.

  • Achievement of annual sales and market share targets.
  • Successful execution of brand plans and marketing campaigns within budget.
  • Increased engagement and advocacy among HCPs and KOLs.
  • Compliance with regulatory and promotional guidelines.
  • Timely delivery of forecasts, reports, and strategic recommendations.
