Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Audit company books of accounts to ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations Review and implement policies and practices to maximize tax and operational efficiency Lead preparation of responses to BIR LOA, audits, and other tax assessments
Oversee preparation of periodic business activity reports such as sales performance report, profitability, ageing report, etc.
Serve as primary point of contact for local auditors and other tax or accounting consultants
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of year-end financial statements for management's review Prepare periodic accounting and financial recommendations for management's review
Manage performance of Accounting department
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principals
Review and develop policies regarding expense recognition, foreign exchange, and other similar accounting matters
Review subordinates management of general accounting functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, etc.
Skills
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)
Certified Public Accountant preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field
At least 5 years as Accounting Manager, Controller, or similar position
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), financial statement preparation, and consolidation processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions
Updated on Philippine legislations and regulations affecting accounting performance (CREATE, CREATE MORE, BIR circulars, etc.)
Experience in corporate policies related to accounting, tax strategies, and financial compliance
- Experience in BIR audits and assessments
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero
Computer-literate: Experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience in team leadership; at least 6 years as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or similar

Other Requirements
Valid Philippine passport; must not be barred from travel to Singapore
