Role Overview
The Web Designer is responsible for designing, updating, and maintaining visually engaging and user-friendly web pages, landing pages, and digital assets. This role works closely with global marketing and creative teams to translate concepts into functional designs that align with brand standards and business goals. The ideal candidate combines creativity with technical expertise in web design and front-end implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, visually appealing websites and landing pages.
- Collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
- Ensure designs are optimized for performance, accessibility, and user experience (UX).
- Maintain brand consistency across all web and digital materials.
- Create visual elements such as icons, banners, graphics, and layout mock-ups.
- Update and enhance existing web pages based on feedback, analytics, and new content needs.
- Test websites for functionality across browsers, platforms, and devices.
- Stay updated with current design trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 24 years of experience as a Web Designer or UI/UX Designer (experience in a digital agency or BPO setup is an advantage).
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is preferred.
- Experience in designing for WordPress, HubSpot, or other CMS platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, usability, and UX principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in motion graphics or interactive design.
- Familiarity with SEO and web performance optimization.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
