Responsibilities

• Design brand identities and identity systems — logos, type, colour, application, the works. • Produce digital and social content across formats: campaign assets, stills, motion-ready frames, templates.
• Build and evolve brand guidelines so they're genuinely useful, not just decorative. • Translate strategy and ideas into visual work that holds up to scrutiny.
• Design pitch decks, proposals, and internal collateral that look like they came from us. • Collaborate closely with strategy and project leads — asking the right questions early. • Keep files organised, named sensibly, and easy for someone else to pick up.

Who You Are

We're not prescribing years of experience. Your portfolio will tell us most of what we need to know. But these are the qualities we're looking for:

• A strong portfolio that shows range — brand work alongside content design, with craft visible in both. (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
• Fluency in Figma, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva. You don't just know the tools; you know when to use which one.
• A point of view on design. You can defend choices without being precious about them. • Comfortable with ambiguity. Briefs won't always arrive perfectly formed — you'll help shape them. • Detail-obsessed in the right places. Kerning, alignment, hierarchy, file hygiene. • Curious about the work, the client, and the wider context — not just the deliverable.
• Reliable. Part-time means we trust you to manage your own time and hit what you commit to.

Bonus Points (Not Required)

• Motion design — even basic frame-by-frame or simple After Effects work.
• Illustration skills you can bring into brand and content work.
• Experience working with agencies or in-house brand teams.
• Familiarity with content systems for social platforms and the rhythms they demand.
