Role Summary
The Graphic Design Manager leads image quality review, creative enhancements, and visual consistency across Toynk's product imagery. This role oversees a team of designers/editors, ensures all product visuals meet brand standards, and creates detailed style guides for photographers and the design team. Responsibilities include editing product images, adding functional callouts (e.g., lights up, sound effects), and driving creative direction.
Must-Have
- 5+ years professional graphic design or editorial design experience
- 2+ years as a people manager within a creative or production environment
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and related creative tools
- Strong eye for image quality, composition, color accuracy, and brand consistency
- Ability to create style guides and visual standards for photography and design teams
- Experience enhancing product imagery with graphic callouts, overlays, and features
- Excellent communication and team-leadership skills
Nice-to-Have
- Background in ecommerce product imagery, collectibles, or consumer products
- Experience directing photoshoots or working closely with photographers
- Familiarity with project-management systems (Asana, Monday, Trello, etc.)
- Knowledge of motion graphics or basic video editing
