Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented 3D Retail Designer specializing in Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) to join our team. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and rendering impactful in-store displays and promotional materials that align with brand guidelines and shopper marketing strategies. Your designs will enhance customer engagement and drive sales at retail touchpoints

Position Responsibilities:

• Design and visualize innovative 3D POSM displays, including FSU (Free Standing Units), counter displays, gondola end caps, shelf trays, and hanging units.
• Create detailed 3D renderings, mockups, and technical drawings using software like 3ds Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, or similar.
• Collaborate closely with the client servicing, marketing, production, and procurement teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and on-brand.
• Understand and apply retail trends, consumer behavior, and brand strategy to the design process.
• Modify and adapt concepts according to feedback, technical constraints, or production limitations.
• Prepare and present design concepts and mockups to internal teams and clients for approval.
• Ensure final designs are aligned with materials, dimensions, and retail execution requirements.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), 3DS Max, Sketchup or similar.
• Understanding of common manufacturing processes and materials related to POSM displays.
• Basic knowledge of costs related to designs and displays.
• Knowledge of systems, network operations, and data communications relevant to design work.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Keyshot, SketchUp, Blender, or similar) is highly desirable.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Proficient at assessing and understanding internal & customer requirements.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed if required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design, Product Design, Graphic Design, or Visual Merchandising.
• 3-5 years of experience in POSM design and the retail channel industry (modern & general trade).
