Career Opportunity: Google Cloud Network Support Engineer
Technical Skills:
- Networking Protocols: Deep understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and other routing and switching protocols
- Networking Devices: Experience in design, implementing, administering and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices (Cisco, Juniper, Arista etc.)
- Cloud Networking: Hands-on experience with cloud networking solutions, including hybrid/multicloud environments. Proficiency with GCP networking services such as VPC, Cloud Router, Cloud NAT, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud DNS, and Cloud Armor.
- Security Protocols: Knowledge of security best practices for securing network resources and experience with security protocols like VPNs, ASA and FirePower.
- Operating Systems: Experience with Linux and Windows
- Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring tools for troubleshooting and performance analysis
Qualifications:
- Networking Experience: 3 plus years of experience in Networking
- Infastructure Implementation: Experience in implementing both on-premise and cloud based infastructure
- Troubleshooting Experience: 3 plus years of experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving complex issues
- Support Experience: Familiarity with support methodologies, case lifecycles, and analytical skills for breaking down issues
