Job Purpose:
The GBP Specialist is responsible for optimizing and managing Google Business Profiles (GBP) to enhance local search visibility and online presence for our clients. This role involves executing well-defined strategies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for GBP optimization, maintaining and managing profiles, and ensuring regular and strategic posting on GBP to drive engagement and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement optimization strategies as per the provided Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maximize the visibility, accuracy, and performance of clients Google Business Profiles. This includes updating business information, managing categories, enhancing profiles with relevant images, and monitoring local SEO performance.
Proactively manage multiple Google Business Profiles to ensure consistency, compliance with Google guidelines, and accuracy of the information. This includes responding to client queries and reviews, handling profile issues, and maintaining regular audits to prevent and fix any discrepancies or errors.
Develop and execute a content posting schedule for Google Business Profiles. Ensure timely and engaging posts that highlight promotions, events, and important updates for each business. Collaborate with the marketing team to align GBP content with overall brand messaging and goals.
Monitor and respond to customer reviews on Google Business Profiles in a timely and professional manner. Ensure that both positive and negative reviews are addressed appropriately, following the company's tone and guidelines. Work with the client and internal teams to resolve any issues highlighted in reviews and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Create, monitor and manage citations. Including creating citations through YEXT, ensure/monitor NAP accuracy with website & GBP, and make any updates to citations as needed.
