GrowthAssistant is hiring a Google Ads Specialist to manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns for U.S.-based clients. This role is ideal for a data-driven marketer who understands how to scale search campaigns while maintaining efficiency, improving lead quality, and driving measurable business outcomes.
You'll own day-to-day Google Ads execution, structured testing, performance optimization, and reporting while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accurate tracking and attribution.

What You'll Do
- Manage daily Google Ads operations including campaign builds, keyword strategy, match types, negatives, bidding, and budgets
- Implement structured testing across keywords, ad copy, and landing pages
- Monitor and improve performance against CPA/CPL targets and lead quality metrics
- Maintain account hygiene through search term reviews, waste reduction, and intent alignment
- Ensure accurate conversion tracking and coordinate on attribution improvements
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards with weekly insights and clear optimization recommendations
- Document account structure, testing roadmaps, and optimization playbooks
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience (search-focused)
- Experience managing meaningful monthly budgets ($10K$100K/month or scaling toward it)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues and prioritize high-impact optimizations
- Solid understanding of conversion tracking, attribution fundamentals, GA4, and GTM basics
- Ability to execute within an existing strategy while proactively identifying opportunities and risks
- Clear communication and strong documentation habits
Nice to Have
- Experience with YouTube Ads, Performance Max, or Microsoft Ads
- Experience improving lead quality for lead generation funnels
- Experience collaborating with developers on tracking and attribution
- Looker Studio or similar dashboard ownership experience
